Pocket GP is a racing game. This page explains what data it collects and why.
Data we collect
- Game identifier: on first launch the app creates a guest account tied to an anonymous device identifier. We never ask for your name, email or phone number.
- Driver name and livery: generated automatically (e.g. “Driver 5938”) and shown on leaderboards and challenges.
- Country: the country of your iPhone’s region setting (no location data), shown as a flag next to your driver name. You can change it in your profile.
- Race data: game inputs, lap times and driving profile of your online races. They let you race against other drivers’ “shadows”, validate lap times and compute leaderboards, ratings and challenges.
What we don’t do
No ads, no tracking across apps or websites, no selling or sharing of data with third parties. Offline stats and personal records stay on your device.
Where data is stored
On Google Cloud (European Union) and MongoDB Atlas servers, used only to run the game.
Deleting your data
In the app: tap your driver at the top left → Delete my online data. This immediately deletes your account, races, shadows, ratings, records and challenges. You can also email giacomofava93@gmail.com.
